Our current project is to raise money for the
building of the secondary school in the village.
The school will provide community adult education
as well as enabling children of secondary school
age to continue education in their own village
instead of having to board elsewhere in Tanzania.
The appeal for funds for the school is by means of our “Virtual Brick” appeal. We are asking for contributors to buy “Virtual Bricks” in multiples of £1 to help build the school. You can make a donation by going to the Make a Donation page.
The foundations of the school were laid in 2006.
January 2007 disaster struck when the monsoon rains washed away part of the structure ….
…… but by March 2007 building was back on track and up to the level of the windowsills.
